1. The Service

CrbonFree AI is an environmentally-aware AI chat product operated by Crbon Labs Inc. (“Crbon Labs,” “we,” “us”). These Terms govern your use of the service available at crbonfree.ai and any related applications.

By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts and Communications

You authenticate using a one-time code sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping that email account secure. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment of offsets, or violation of these Terms.

By providing your email address, you consent to receive communications from Crbon Labs related to your use of the service — including authentication codes, transactional notices about offset purchases, security alerts, service updates, and occasional product news. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time by emailing us at hello@crbonlabs.com. Essential communications (authentication codes, transactional receipts, security alerts) cannot be opted out of while your account remains active.

3. Acceptable Use

Don't use the service for anything illegal, harmful, deceptive, or sexually explicit. Don't attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse the carbon-offset system, scrape the service at scale, reverse-engineer the model, or impersonate other users.

4. Intellectual Property

Our content. The CrbonFree AI service — including its software, designs, logos, copy, the “CrbonFree AI” name, and the “Crbon Labs” name — is owned by Crbon Labs Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Copyright. Copyright © 2026 Crbon Labs Inc. All rights reserved. Except where expressly permitted, no part of the service may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, publicly displayed, or used to train machine-learning models without our prior written permission.

Your content. You retain ownership of the messages and other content you submit through the service. You grant Crbon Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and display that content as needed to operate, improve, and secure the service.

Feedback. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

5. AI Output

The service uses third-party AI models, which may search the web at their discretion. Outputs may be wrong, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your situation. Verify anything important before relying on it. We make no warranty as to the accuracy or fitness of any AI output.

6. Carbon Offsets

The service estimates the energy and carbon impact of your usage and offers optional offset purchases through our payment processor. Estimates are approximations based on published factors and may not reflect exact emissions. Offset purchases are non-refundable once retired with our offset partner.

7. Disclaimers, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnification

As-is service. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crbon Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Assumption of risk for AI output. You understand that AI output can be incorrect, incomplete, biased, dangerous, or otherwise unsuitable for your situation, and may include information that is harmful if acted upon. You use AI output entirely at your own risk. Crbon Labs is not responsible for any decision you make, action you take, or any consequence — including physical injury, illness, death, property damage, financial loss, legal trouble, or harm to any third party — that results from your reliance on AI output. This includes, without limitation, attempts to follow instructions of any kind generated by, summarized by, or referenced through the service. Always consult qualified professionals (medical, legal, financial, safety, or otherwise) before relying on AI output for anything that could affect your health, safety, finances, or legal position.

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Crbon Labs Inc., its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right; (d) any content or messages you submit through the service; or (e) any action you take, or fail to take, based on AI output — including any harm you cause to yourself, to others, or to property.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms over time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Effective” date above. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
